Overview

This 1-part webinar provides an overview on both frame and mounting for all types of motors, plus provides detailed information on motor enclosures. Additionally, the webinar will cover all the motor basics for variable speed pumping applications highlighting advantages of using variable speed versus constant speed applications. A wide range of special applications and what an end-user should consider in selecting the right motor along with the pump will be reviewed.

This webinar is designed for engineers and technical personnel who work within industrial or commercial pumping systems and need to understand more about the motor and how it affects the overall performance of any pump.

All refund requests must be made in writing to training@pumps.org. Full refunds will be issued for any live course or webinar that has been cancelled.

Webinar Instructions

1. Click the "Contents" tab and select "View Live Webinar". After the live webinar is completed, return to the Contents tab.
2. Click "Complete Quiz for Live Webinar" to answer quiz questions. You will have 10 attempts and must get at least 80% correct to proceed to the next session. After completing the quiz, return to the Contents tab.
3. Click "Complete Webinar Evaluation" to provide your feedback. Scroll down to view all feedback questions, there are questions that expand past the size of the window. 
4. Click “Claim Credits & Certificate" and then click the button “View/Print Your Certificate” to save and/or print your certificate of completion. If you ever lose your certificate, you can come back to the PSM website and view it on your transcript (found in the Dashboard).
