Overview
This webinar will focus on the application and installation of air valves and where are they frequently used. Additionally, this webinar will cover air valve behavior during transients and secondary surges along with the protective measures.

Raghu Kadava is a Pump Technical Specialist with over 16 years of experience. He has worked in Design, Construction, Startup, Commissioning, Failure Analysis for over 300 pumping stations. He has done more than 50 transient analysis for Surge tanks, head tanks, surge towers, air valves, surge relief & anticipator valves, check valve w/ bypass and others. He is an active member of Hydraulic Institute for past 6 years & has major contributions for development of standards and has been a major contributor for the Intake Design, Foundation Design & Vibration. Mr. Kadava completed his education from the University of Missouri – Rolla.
