How do I register a group for a webinar or recorded webinar?

What is the discount for Hydraulic Institute (HI) Members and Partners? 

Members, Associate Members, Standards Partners, and Training Partners of the Hydraulic Institute (HI) receive 25% discount on all available PSM training. Employees of Members, Associate Members, Standards Partner, and Training Partner organizations must log in with their company email address in order for the discounted registration fee to apply. Industry Partners and Academic Partners receive 5% discount on all PSM training.

Can we add a bundle after registering for an individual product and get the benefit for bundle training?

Questions about Membership:

How do I know if my company is a member and/or partner at Hydraulic Institute?                                                                              

You can go to pumps.org for the list of member and partner companies. Click here to see if your company is listed. If you have questions please contact membership@pumps.org  



How does my member and/or partner discount get applied?                                                                       

You need to create an account on training.pumps.org with your company email address and log in to the website. When you do this, PSM’s system will recognize the email domain and automatically apply your discount. 



If I have an account on the training site (training.pumps.org), will that make me a member?                                                                     

No, creating an account will only make you a valid user and give you access to content that you purchase. To attain membership benefits, your organization needs to become a member of the Hydraulic Institute. Click here to learn more about membership at HI. 



Questions about Content Access:

What system does PSM use for training?                                                                     

Courses and webinars are hosted on Microsoft Teams. While a Teams account is not necessary, customers are encouraged to conduct a test to ensure access to the content runs smoothly. How many people can view the product at a time if we purchase one training product?                                                  

The participants will have to register and complete the quiz individually to receive the PDH certificate and they can have a Lunch & Learn session for the videos if they wish.  



How do I access the content for a live webinar or course?                                                                       

Customers will receive reminder emails prior to the live event. Access to content is achieve by logging into training.pumps.org prior to the start of the event, clicking on “My Training Site”, navigating to the product title, and click on the “Content” tab.   



Questions about Product Selection:

What is the educational or professional pre-requisite for taking the training?                                                                         

Pre-requisites in PSM content is uncommon. To ease navigation and product selection, PSM staff have categorized our content into four learning levels. Customers should read the description of the product(s) before purchasing to ensure the selection is appropriate for their education needs. How do we know which learning level is appropriate for me?                                                                       

HI 41.8 program guideline builds on the work done in HI 40.9 – Body of Knowledge, which identifies the core learning outcomes for industry professionals, and establishes the formal credentialing requirements for a Pump System Certified (PSC) Level 1 and Level 2 certification, including a standardized examination and renewal process.

What is the Learning Path for PSAP?

What is the Training Partner Program?                                                                        

The Training Partner Program is designed as a partnership for organizations that do not qualify for our membership.
