Kimley Horn
Eric is the National Water and Energy Practice Builder for Kimley Horn where he specializes in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions through optimized hydraulic systems and the unit processes they drive. He was one of the first professionals certified as a Pump Systems Assessment Professional (PSAP) through the Hydraulics Institute in 2018 and is also an instructor for Hydraulics Institute. Eric has performed over 200 wire-to-water efficiency tests over his 24-year career and is considered a subject matter expert in pump optimization. Eric is the co-author of Chapter 4 of the AWWA M83 - Energy Management of Pumping and Treatment Processes Manual of Practice. Eric was awarded the AWWA Peak Performance Award in 2023 and the Water Environment of TX Innovative Technology Award in 2024 for research he led in Machine Learning Pump Optimization Dashboards and brine treatment research.
