Certified individuals can interpret pump system requirements to make informed pump type and hydraulic selections based on their understanding of performance curves, system curve interactions, varying operating points, efficiency, power consumption, and the effect on reliability. 

Audience & Eligibility

This certification was made for the following:

  • Engineers (entry-level or new to the industry)
  • Sales/application personnel
  • Operation/maintenance technicians

To be eligible for certification, applicants must satisfy ONE of the following:

  • At least six (6) months of relevant work experience, or
  • Currently enrolled in or completed an associate or bachelor’s degree program, preferably in an engineering or technical field, or
  • Completed an associate or bachelor's degree program, preferably in an engineering or technical field.

2. Basic Pump & System Training

Sixteen (16)-hour self-paced product.

 Additional time allows for introductory concepts to be reinforced and supports students who need to review instruction multiple times.
3. PSC Level 1 Exam PrepProvides more than 200 exam type questions with explained answers. Includes Domain challenges and full-length sample exams.Only available for
private courses.

Allows students to take randomized sample tests, review explained answers, and retake sample exams to aid learning.
4. PSC Level 1 ExamThis exam is fully online, proctored by MonitorEDU.

NOTE: 
After registering, you have six (6) months to take and pass the exam.
In-person proctoring is only available for private courses.
