Overview

This webinar series explains how to use the ANSI/HI 5.1-5.6 standard for sealless rotodynamic pumps. It explains the basic design and operation of sealless pumps, including benefits and limitations of their use. The attendee will also learn how to evaluate the application and process conditions to select the correct sealless pump. The design, components, and function of canned motor pumps and magnetic drive pumps are explained in detail.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, learners should be able to:

• Use the ANSI/HI 5.1-5.6 standard effectively
• Have a basic understanding of sealless pump designs
• Understand the fundamental differences between sealed and sealless pump application, installation, operation, and maintenance
• Know the benefits and limitations of sealless pumps

Refunds & Cancellations

All refund requests must be made in writing to training@pumps.org. Full refunds will be issued for any live course or webinar that has been cancelled.

Course Instructions

1. Click the "Contents" tab and select "View On-Demand Webinar - Part 1".  After viewing the entire video, return to the Contents tab.
2. Continue this process until you view and complete all the parts for this On-Demand Webinar Series.
3. Click "Complete Quiz for On-Demand Webinar" to answer quiz questions. You will have 10 attempts and must get at least 80% correct to proceed to the next session. After completing the quiz, return to the Contents tab.
4. Click "Complete Webinar Evaluation" to provide your feedback on the webinar to PSM. Scroll down to view all feedback questions, there are questions that expand past the size of the window. 
5. Click the button “View/Print Your Certificate” in the box titled “Claim Credits & Certificate to save or print your certificate of completion. If you ever lose your certificate, you can come back to the PSM website and view it on your transcript (found in the Dashboard).

The acceptance of continuing education as it applies to fulfillment of the state licensing requirements for professional designations is at the pleasure of the individual state licensing boards.
